Hoigh mìoch!!!
Welcome back! In a dramatic turn of events I’ve realised that I would, in-fact, actually like to emerge from my social-isolation with something to show for it! A real change of heart based on the fact that I have spent my last two weeks doing…absolutely fuck-all.
So in a desperate attempt to make the coming days that I will spend in complete seclusion semi-productive, and also to prevent my brain turning to brochan, I’m pleased to announce that I shall be partaking in a month long writing challenge.
(S/O to Molly for the inspo<3!)
Basically, if everything goes to plan, then every day in this month of April you can look forward to reading a new blog post from me! Don’t pretend that you have anything better to do with your time, cause I know that literally nobody does at the moment. But if you do, it would probably mean that you’re violating social-distancing guidelines? And in that case: fuck you! But also please reconsider your actions/current lifestyle - this is really serious, people are dying.
Anyhow, here’s the agenda for the month!
Day. General Topic
Introducing myself.
Self-isolation content that’s keeping me going.
Records that raised me.
Me and my faith.
Where do I see myself in ten years?
My strengths and weaknesses.
This time last year.
My favourite place - somewhere I wish I was right now.
People I look up to (past).
People I look up to (present).
When all of this is over…an overview of a 2020 bucket list on hold.
When all of this is over (Part 2)…an overview of my life goals/bucket list from my current perspective.
The least important Q+A that you will ever read.
A comprehensive list of a few of my favourite things.
Words to remember: Quotes/sayings/lyrics that feed my soul.
Current priorities.
Politics.
18 lessons that I’ve learnt over 18 years.
Fears.
Dreams.
Spotify liked songs shuffle - a guide through the first ten songs that come on.
Tattoos.
A journey through some of my very niche passions and interests.
A letter to someone.
Skills I wish I had/things I want to learn.
Movies that raised me.
My current TBR (to be read) list.
Self-isolation content that’s keeping me going (Part 2).
A month spent in self-isolation in review (one for the grandkids’ history project).
A lesson learnt/wisdom gained from April.
As today is April 1st, that means that todays topic/theme/prompt is “introducing myself”. My first post on this blog is an introduction to the blog itself; this post is an intro to me. I’ll provide you with a very quick summary of my person, the basics. Some information to bring you a little bit closer, but not to give so much away that the blog posts of the coming days are spoilt. I enjoy maintaining just a little mystery at all times.
I do actually have an “about me” section on the site, but I was trying to keep it brief and lighthearted, so here are some details about me that are actually reasonably important:
Age?
(newly) 18.
From?
I’m a first generation Glaswegian. I grew up in the south-side of Glasgow, and I now live just outside of the south-side of Glasgow. What can I say, I'm a nomad!
Dream place to live?
South Uist !!! I’ve seen and experienced all that Glasgow has to offer; get me back to the teuchter-heartlands ASAP pls.
Favourite colour?
Green!
Height?
A tall 5’3 or a short 5’4.
Once daily state-approved exercise method of choice?
A brisk solo-walk.
I’m a firm believer that pinterest and spotify are the most intimate social medias - as they are usually without pretence. So, if you really want to get to know a gal, may I direct you to:

I hope that was insightful! Probably no new information there if you know me well; but even those closest to me should learn some things about me if they read attentively over the next month...let's see who pays attention.
Gun a-màireach!
~Rose
